Since Leo came home in the late evening, I didn't have enough time to post pictures of his journey home. So here they are!
This is a photo of Leo snoozing in his car seat, dressed up and ready to go home. He is wearing his Project Linus hat that was once huge on him. Now it is so tight that it kept popping off his head!

Here is Matt, putting Leo in the car:

And here he is, finally at home, 1 day short of 2 months after their birth. You can see that Otis is desperate to meet him!

Last night, we gave Leo his first bath at home. He loved lounging in the warm water!

The boys turned two months old yesterday. Today they had their two month checkup with their pediatrician. Leo weighed 4lb 12.5 oz, and Drake weighed 6 lb 3 oz. Both boys had their first set of immunizations today, consisting of 4 shots and an oral vaccine. Needless to say, the babies are sore, cranky, and they don't feel well. Thank goodness for baby Tylenol!
So Drake isn't left out of today's post, here is a picture of him ready to go to the doctor, sucking away furiously at his pacifier:

You'll are doing a great job giving the babies the best. Lack of sleep makes for tiresome days but remember their tummies don't know what a clock is. Their patterns will become more predictable.
Sweet dreams Drake and Leo .......
Aunt Vickie
Karol and Matt, thank you for this great update and so many marvelous pictures.
I'm very happy your family is finally whole and home. It must be a huge relief for all of you.
Here's to settling in to a comfortable routine with plenty of sleep for the parents, too.
These pictures are precious, and I keep picturing Leo's huge blue eyes solomnly taking in his brand new word as the sun came up Wednesday morning, turing his head toward the kitchen when he heard his mama's voice! And Draker wolfing down yet another bottle in the wee hours, then cuddling up as I worked to get him burped. I can't wait to see them again. Nana is twitterpated!!!
