The boys had their 4 month pediatrician checkup today, where they received several vaccinations, including their final Synagis shot. The boys were very unhappy to be in the doctor's office! They cried from the second we walked into the exam room until we were driving away nearly 2 hours later. Needless to say, they are very tired and crabby little guys this evening!
Leo weighed a whopping 8 pounds 11 ounces, nearly a pound more than just two weeks ago! Our little micropreemie is not very tiny any more! Drake is getting so chunky that his facial features are melting away behind a layer of chub. He topped the scale at 11 pounds 4 ounces. Amazingly, both babies have more than tripled their birth weights.
Leo has had reflux since he was born, but we were hoping that he would outgrow it without needing any medication. It has gotten better but he still has frequent belly aches. The pediatrician prescribed some reflux medicine today. Hopefully the new medicine will get rid of all of those nasty tummy aches.
